Kingdom Style of Writing Chapter 6

This chapter talks about the importance of journaling. It covers:

• Benefits of keeping a journal.
• Writing challenges that people face
• Common journaling rules
• and more

I selected something quite important for writers to do to protect their work. Here is a short excerpt from Chapter 6.

Funeral Services for that "P" Word

Today we will funeralize procrastination. The Higher Power that be says, "The time is come for writers all over the world to bury this thirteen letter behavior. Celebrate your victory over it, that it no longer has dominion in your life. You are no longer the pro in pro-crastination. Procrastinate means to put off intentionally and habitually. To put off intentionally the doing of something that needs to be done. -Webster

Best Quotes on Writing

Here are some of my favorite quotes on writing:

WRITING QUOTES

“Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.”  -E.L. Doctorow

“Books, like friends, should be few and well-chosen.”  –Samuel Paterson

“Books are for people who wish they were somewhere else.”  –Mark Twain

“A real book is not one that we read, but one that reads us.”  –W.H. Auden

“A book is a gift you can open again and again.”  –Garrison Keillor

Capitalize that 'S' word, I THINK NOT!

During the editing of "Kingdom Style of Writing," it was brought to my attention by the editor that the word 'satan' is actually capitalized in the Bible. What a fine time to find out after having written five books, knowing that I'd never capitalized that word before.

Are You Waiting for a Download from Heaven?

Hello up there, I'm waiting for you to download! Does that sound like you? You know God has placed a book in you, but nothing is coming to you to write.
Here you are sitting on your watch like Habakkuk, waiting to see what the Lord will say. You've been waiting and waiting for some time and no word from God on what to write. There are several reasons why God gives the silent treatment. In most cases, we are the holdup. You see, while you are waiting on Him to download, He is actually waiting on you to upload, so He can download.

You may be asking, "Exactly, what is it that I am suppose to upload? To answer that question, I would like to introduce you to four elements in chapter five of Kingdom Style of Writing, guaranteed to break the silence. Once you implement the four elements in your life, you will see how much God loves to communicate, whether through visions, dreams, angels, scriptures, earthly messengers, and etc. He has many ways to communicate to you the contents of your book.
